Lynnea Felton, NMD
Licensed Naturopathic Doctor
A native of Buffalo, NY, Dr. Felton received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Niagara University. While studying there, she conducted a thesis experiment on the effects of cervical cancer cells after treatment with Curcuma longa and light activated vitamin D, the herb that causes the yellow coloring of turmeric. This, however, was not where her journey to discover a more alternative way of treatment started.
After struggling through childhood with significant acid reflux, unexplained abdominal pain, anxiety, and chronic ear infections, her parents were inspired to seek out an alternative. This eventually lead the family to discover naturopathic medicine, and Dr. Felton’s favorite naturopathic principle of “Treat the Cause.” Removing the source of irritation that caused chronic inflammation leading to disease, which in her case was food related, lead to complete resolution of symptoms.
Dr. Felton graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, AZ and also completed a general medicine residency at the SCNM Medical Center. She enjoyed teaching clinical students on how to incorporate the naturopathic principles to treat every patient and provide treatment plans that easily integrate into patient’s lifestyles.

Leah Gusching, NMD
Licensed Naturopathic Doctor
After coordinating a research fellowship for medical residents, Dr. Gusching became increasingly aware of the gap between managing disease and cultivating health. This experience led her to pursue a path more closely aligned with her values, ultimately resulting in naturopathic medicine. In her practice, she places particular emphasis on exploring each patient’s unique response to stress and the role it plays in shaping their health.
As a Christian, Dr. Gusching believes true health is far more than the absence of disease. She recognizes our deepest identity, purpose, and sense of meaning are found within the larger context of God’s design for humanity and our relationship with Him. She believes naturopathic medicine reflects this design and aims for patients to more fully discover their capacity for healing.
Outside of work, Dr. Gusching enjoys playing basketball with her husband, walking with their two-year-old son, and swimming in the ocean whenever the opportunity presents itself. She graduated from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois and is grateful for the privilege of walking with others on their healing journeys.

Mike Gonzales, NMD
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Gonzales always had a deep appreciation for health and wellness. His journey led him to Arizona, where he pursued a doctorate in naturopathic medicine at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Gonzales specializes in men’s health, specifically helping men feel their best through hormone optimization therapy and testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).
Dr. Gonzales and his wife Dr. Felton founded Abundance Naturopathic Medicine together, dedicated to providing exceptional care with the principles of natural medicine, business excellence, and faith. Between clinical practice, he runs the operations of Abundance Naturopathic.

Julie Andrea Balugbog, RMT
Julie is the executive assistant at Abundance Naturopathic Medicine. Her previous experience was as a Medical Technologist. She works behind the scenes to make your experience with our clinic as easy and stress-free as possible.
If you have any concerns regarding your appointments, lab orders, or any questions regarding our services, just feel free to send Julie a message, and she will get back to you as soon as she can. She is here to help and serve you every step of the way because you deserve nothing but the best care.
Outside of work, she spends her time reading books, watching movies, playing with her kids, and discovering new places. She also loves writing poems and stories, as well as exploring museums and historical places. She believes that life is best enjoyed when we do it with love, curiosity, and kindness.

Veronica Garcia
Front Desk Associate
Veronica is one of the friendly faces who will welcome you to Abundance Naturopathic Medicine. With over 28 years experience in the corporate world, she will ensure your experience when you walk through the front door is as stress free and streamlined as possible. Handles the front desk check in and check out process with compassion.
On a personal note, Veronica is a native of the Valley of the Sun. She is married to the love of her life for 25 years and they have two beautiful grown children Davina and Vianna. Her husband and her own a local automotive repair shop.
Outside of work, Veronica volunteers at her local church as a greeter and teaches in the Kids Ministry. She loves to lift weights, walk her two dogs Luna and Chia, and travel to watch her daughter play beach volleyball in college.
She is excited to be part of the team at Abundance and can’t wait to welcome you in.
Serena Lopez
Front Desk Associate
Serena is one of the Front Office Staff members at Abundance Naturopathic Medicine, serving as the welcoming face for all patients and supporting the check-in and check-out at the front desk.
Born and raised in Michigan, Serena has been an Arizona resident since 2018 and is currently a nursing student at Grand Canyon University. After graduation, Serena plans to gain experience in her field and apply to a Nurse Practitioner program.
She is grateful to share the mission that Abundance holds and to be part of a team that provides personalized care to all patients. Outside of work, Serena enjoys staying active, traveling, spending time with friends, painting, and exploring new hobbies.
